Mitchell Lloyd Feldman Esq.
Mr. Feldman has been a practicing attorney since 1996. Mr. Feldman was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1965. He graduated from the University of South Florida in 1987 with a BS in Finance; and he earned his JD from Emory University, in Atlanta Georgia in 1995. Mr. Feldman became a member of the State Bar of Georgia in 1995 and the Florida Bar in 1996. He was a founding partner of the firm SILVER, LEVY & FELDMAN, and worked with that firm for 10 years. Now, Mr. Feldman is the Managing Shareholder of Feldman Fox & Morgado, and a resident of the Tampa office.
Mr. Feldman is admitted to practice in all State Courts of Florida and Georgia. He is admitted to practice in all Federal District Courts in Florida, and The Federal District Court in Atlanta, Georgia. He has handled cases in all corners of the State of Florida and federal cases in other states as well.
Mr. Feldman is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Feldman’s practice areas are broad in scope, with the emphasis in labor and employment, commercial and contract litigation. Mr. Feldman served for four years as lead outside counsel for a regional telecommunications company, representing the business in cases involving: whistleblower claims, discrimination, unpaid wages, overtime wages, breach of contract, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, tortious interference of business and contractual relationships, sexual harassment, and fraud. Throughout his general civil litigation and trial practice, Mr. Feldman has handled many large value overtime wage cases, including collective actions and class actions involving cases estimated at values upwards of $100 million dollars, including complex commercial or business related disputes, fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, breach of contracts involving pensions and benefits. Additionally, Mr. Feldman is presently lead counsel in a class action case against the City of Tampa, several Unions and the Pension Board for upwards of $25 million dollars in pension benefits.
TRIAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Feldman has an outstanding jury trial and bench trial record; he is undefeated in jury trials and has handled upwards of 50 trials and evidentiary hearings over his legal career. He has never lost any jury trial he has participated in. Mr. Feldman has prevailed on several jury cases of significance such as:
1 Mann v. DOT, Circuit Court, Alachua County, Gainesville, Florida: Jury Verdict for the defense, October, 2007. Automobile accident case alleging negligence in road design and maintenance.
2 Craig v. RJD Enterprises, d/b/a McDonald’s: Circuit Court, Sarasota County, December 2001. Trip and fall case alleging negligence in failure to warn and failure to maintain the premises in reasonably safe condition
3 Heiffer v. IDS Telcom, Broward County Circuit Court, December, 2004. Breach of contract, enforcement of non-solicitation, tortuous interference and civil theft case. Mr. Feldman represented IDS Telcom.

COMMUNITY INVOLVMENT: Mr. Feldman is a frequent lecturer in the Business and Insurance community on topics related to labor and employment, general liability and workers’ compensation cases including: fraud, subrogation, use of experts, litigation and mediation strategies, sexual harassment and discrimination, mass layoffs and reductions in force, proposals for settlement, attorney’s fees, bad faith, and recent law changes among others. Mr. Feldman has been a featured speaker at the Florida RIMS, regional PCCP and WCCP events.
Mr. Feldman serves both corporate and individual clients. Throughout his years of litigation practice, Mr. Feldman has had the opportunity to write many appellate briefs, motions for summary judgment, appear at bench and jury trials.
PERSONAL
Mr. Feldman is married with 2 children. He is an avid golfer, and has interests of tennis, physical fitness, travel, boating, and snow skiing.
