We handle cases everyday involving claims for OVERTIME and unpaid wages. Most people fail to take action to recover such wages they are lawfully entitled to because they are told by their employers they are exempt or they fear losing their jobs. It is unlawful for any employer to retaliate or terminate an employee for seeking overtime wages if they are entitled under the FLSA. Call us immediately to determine if you are entitled to overtime wages.
You will not be charged any fees, and we will get paid only if there is a recovery. The law provides double the wages owed as damages plus the offending employer will be required to pay our attorney's fees. You may only have 2 years to seek recovery, do not wait until it is too late.
A THE FAIR LABOR STANDARDS ACT (FLSA): Establishes minimum wage, overtime pay, record-keeping, and child labor standards
The FLSA affects more than 80 million full-time and part-time workers in the private sector and in Federal, State, and local governments. The Wage and Hour Division (Wage-Hour) administers and enforces FLSA with respect to private employment, State and local government employment, and Federal employees of the Library of Congress, U.S. Postal Service, Postal Rate Commission, and the Tennessee Valley Authority. The Office of Personnel Management is responsible for enforcement with regard to all other Federal employees. Special rules apply to State and local government employment involving fire protection and law enforcement activities, volunteer services, and compensatory time off in lieu of cash overtime pay.
